While at SXSW, I attended a screening of the first two episodes of You Me Her, a polyamorous comedy about a suburban couple looking to spice up their love life. The series, which premiered earlier this week on DirecTV’s Audience Network, was created by John Scott Shepherd and is inspired by the Playboy Magazine article “Sugar on Top” by John H. Richardson.
After the screening, I sat down with Melanie Papalia who plays an escort named Nina to talk about the series. While her role in the pilot is small, Papalia confirmed her screen time increases as the series progresses.
While most of my questions for Papalia were about You Me Her, I asked for her thoughts about the recent season finale of Suits, including the fate of Mike Ross (Patrick J Adams). For six episodes during season four, Papalia played Amy, Mike’s personal assistant during his tenure at Sidwell Investment Group.
Tune in to You Me Her Tuesday at 9:00 ET, only on DirecTV’s Audience Network.
