Airing Saturday, February 23, 8/7c, Director Steven Spielberg will present USA’s Special Presentation of Schindler’s List, commercial free.

An unforgettable testament to the possibility of human goodness, Schindler’s List will air as part of the Characters Unite quarterly film series and coincides with the film’s 20th Anniversary. The film will be presented commercial-free, with a special personal introduction by the film’s Oscar-winning director, Steven Spielberg. Starring Liam Neeson, Ralph Fiennes, Amon Goeth and Ben Kingsley, it’s one of the most honored films of all time, garnering twelve Academy Award® nominations and taking home seven Oscars®, including Best Director and Best Picture for Steven Spielberg.

Adapted from the novel by Thomas Keneally, Steven Spielberg’s masterful film tells the incredible true story of the courageous Oskar Schindler (Liam Neeson). Initially a member of the Nazi party, the Catholic Schindler risks his career and life, and ultimately goes bankrupt, to employ 1,100 Jews in his crockery factory during the Holocaust.
