NEW YORK – August 8, 2017 – SHOWTIME is giving viewers nationwide an early opportunity to sample the season premieres of the network’s hilarious comedy series EPISODES and DICE for free, ahead of their debuts on Sunday, August 20th at 10 p.m. and 10:30pm ET/PT, respectively. Starting today, consumers can watch the series premiere for free on YouTube (EPISODES / DICE) and SHO.com (EPISODES / DICE). Consumers can also sample the premieres of EPISODES and DICE across multiple television and streaming providers’ devices, websites and applications and their free On Demand channels.

The season premieres of EPISODES and DICE are available to SHOWTIME subscribers now on SHOWTIME ON DEMAND® and SHOWTIME ANYTIME®. The episodes are also available on the SHOWTIME stand-alone streaming service through Amazon, Apple®, Google, Roku®, Xbox One and Samsung TVs and the service’s website www.showtime.com, as well as through Amazon Channels, Hulu, YouTube TV, Sling TV, and Sony PlayStation Vue. The premieres are also available through TV providers’ authenticated online services.

The fifth and final season of acclaimed comedy series EPISODES will premiere on Sunday, August 20 at 10 p.m. ET/PT. EPISODES stars Matt LeBlanc in his four-time Emmy®-nominated and Golden Globe®-winning role playing a fictionalized version of himself. At the start of the final season of EPISODES, several months have passed and the game show hosted by Matt is now a runaway hit. Unfortunately for Matt, this means his years as an actor are completely forgotten. Sean (Stephen Mangan) and Beverly (Tamsin Greig) are equally miserable. Sean’s loathsome ex-partner is now in charge of their new series, The Opposite of Us, and Sean and Beverly must now endure his utter lack of humor or talent as they watch him slowly destroy their show. EPISODES also stars John Pankow, Kathleen Rose Perkins, Mircea Monroe, Andrea Savage and Andrea Rosen. EPISODES is created, written and executive produced by award-winning writing partners David Crane (Friends) and Jeffrey Klarik (Mad About You). Klarik directed the entire final season. The series is also executive produced by Jimmy Mulville through his Hat Trick production company.

Season two of the comedy series DICE will return with seven new, half-hour episodes Sunday, August 20 at 10:30pm ET/PT. Produced by Fox 21 Television Studios, the scripted, semi-autobiographical series will dig deeper into the unconventional world of Andrew Dice Clay – beyond the character who once sold out Madison Square Garden. The unemployed comic struggles to restart his career and deals with the effects of his outrageous brand of fame, all while living in the Vegas suburbs with his girlfriend Carmen (Natasha Leggero).  Created by Scot Armstrong (Old School, The Hangover Part II), Dice chronicles Clay as he tries to live his life while trapped in the skin of “The Diceman.” The series also stars Kevin Corrigan and Leggero. Season two guest stars include David Arquette, Andy Daly, Patrick Fischler, Billy Gardell, Mary Holland, Michael Imperioli, Ron Livingston, Laraine Newman, Tony Orlando, Mickey Rourke, Teller, Mike Starr and James Woods. The series’ executive producers are Armstrong, Sean Furst, Bryan Furst, Andrew Dice Clay, Bruce Rubenstein, Brian Gatewood and Alessandro Tanaka.

Greg Staffa

I provide testosterone to the site. You won’t be reading about how nice a actress looks in a dress or how much of a hunk Matt Bomer is in my reviews. I describe colors using words like brown, not taupe. My twitter name is @staffaroadtrip because I love road trips and have done two different 48-state road trips since 2008. My favorite show is White Collar.
