New Poster and Photography: Official Cast of NBC's Hairspray Live! Airing December 7

In previous posts (https://www.yourentertainmentcorner.com/?p=83174), (https://www.yourentertainmentcorner.com/?p=86319) and (https://www.yourentertainmentcorner.com/?p=88476), we told you about this winter’s musical special on NBC, Hairspray Live! In keeping with the network’s holiday tradition, it is bringing Broadway to Hollywood with a live adaptation of the hugely popular, Tony award-winning, 2002 musical Hairspray.

Now, we can reveal the official poster and cast for the show, which premieres Wednesday, December 7 at 8:00 pm ET/PT, only on NBC.

WEDNESDAY, DEC. 7 LIVE! AT 8:00 P.M. ET ON NBC

NBC continues its musical holiday tradition with “Hairspray Live!” starring Maddie Baillio, Dove Cameron, Kristin Chenoweth, Garrett Clayton, Harvey Fierstein, Ariana Grande, Derek Hough, Jennifer Hudson, Martin Short, Ephraim Sykes, and Shahadi Wright Joseph, with special appearances by Billy Eichner, Sean Hayes, Andrea Martin, and Rosie O’Donnell. Tony and Emmy Award-winning Executive Producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron and a cast of showstoppers will create an exciting new take on the Tony Award-winning Broadway musical, transforming the sprawling backlots of Universal Studios into 1962 Baltimore.
