Movie Clip: Trailer for "Beastly" Opening Friday

Tomorrow, April 4, 2011, the new movie Beastly opens. It’s the story of Kyle, an extremely shallow yet popular teenager, who can only be bothered with the beautiful people. When he crosses Kendra, who, unbeknownst to him, is a witch, he gets more than he bargained for. She places him under a spell which makes him “beastly”—as ugly on the inside as he is on the outside. He has one year to find a girl who will accept him as he is, or live under the spell for the rest of his life.

Not only did they star in the classic family television series, Full House, the twins went on to become major moguls. In addition to making several movies, they started their own successful company and clothing line. [Vanessa] Hudgens told us that she is a fan of Mary Kate Olsen, but was intimidated at first to act with her.”

The cast includes Vanessa Hudgens (High School Musical, Bandslam) as Lindy Taylor; Mary-Kate Olsen (The Wackness, New York Minute, Weeds) as Kendra; Alex Pettyfer (Wild Child, I am Number Four) as Kyle Kingston; Neil Patrick Harris (How I Met Your Mother) as Will; Erik Knudsen (Revolt, Scream 4) as Trey; Dakota Johnson (The Social Network) as Sloane; LisaGay Hamilton (Valley Song, Men of a Certain Age) as Zola; and Peter Krause (Parenthood, Six Feet Under) as Rob Kingson.

When a spell is cast on a handsome egocentric young man (Alex Pettyfer) that physically transforms him into everything he despises, he has one year to find a young woman (Vanessa Hudgens) who will love him despite his hideous form or the spell will last forever.
