UNIVERSAL CITY, CA – December 19, 2016– USA Network today announced a second season pick-up for SHOOTER. A top 10 first season scripted drama series on ad-supported cable, SHOOTER is averaging 974K P18-49, 1.090MM P25-54 and 2.6MM P2+ in L7s and is USA’s #1 new series year-to-date among P18-34 and P2+. “John Hlavin and the team behind SHOOTER have delivered a compelling action thriller that consistently engages a strong and loyal audience,” said Chris McCumber, president of entertainment networks for NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment. “We look forward to partnering once again with Paramount Television and Universal Cable Productions as we follow Bob Lee into his next chapter.”

The series follows the journey of Bob Lee Swagger (Phillippe), a highly-decorated veteran who is coaxed back into action to prevent a plot to kill the President.  When Swagger’s former commanding officer, Isaac Johnson (Epps), solicits his expertise for a clandestine operation, Swagger discovers that he has been framed and must do everything in his power to protect his family and clear his name.

The series also stars Shantel VanSanten (“One Tree Hill”), Cynthia Addai-Robinson (“The Accountant”) and Eddie McClintock (“Bones”). Notable guest stars this season include WWE Superstar Randy Orton (“WWE Raw”), William Fichtner (“The Dark Knight”), Desmond Harrington (“Dexter”) and Beverly D’Angelo (“Entourage”).

I provide testosterone to the site. You won’t be reading about how nice a actress looks in a dress or how much of a hunk Matt Bomer is in my reviews. I describe colors using words like brown, not taupe. My twitter name is @staffaroadtrip because I love road trips and have done two different 48-state road trips since 2008. My favorite show is White Collar.
