TV News: Freeform’s Annual 25 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS Begins December 1

It’s hard to believe but it’s that time of year again! The holiday season is upon and that means lots and lots of holiday classics airing on our television screens! Freeform does it again with 25 Days of Christmas with a great holiday lineup to fill your days and nights with festive cheer!

Cable’s Biggest Programming Event of the Year Will Include the Network Television Premiere of ‘Holiday Joy’ and the Freeform Premieres of ‘Santa Paws 2: The Santa Pups,’ ‘Snow Buddies’ and ‘Just Friends’

In its 20th year of bringing Christmas cheer to viewers, Freeform returns with “25 Days of Christmas,” cable’s biggest programming event of the year. The 25 continuous days of holiday-themed entertainment for the whole family runs from December 1 – 25, and viewers can ring in the season with festive specials, classic holiday movies and returning favorites.

This year’s merriest programming stunt includes the network television premiere of “Holiday Joy” and the Freeform premieres of “Santa Paws 2: The Santa Pups,” “Snow Buddies” and “Just Friends.” Holiday lovers get an early sneak peek of “Holiday Joy” on the Freeform app on December 1, before the linear premiere.

In addition, Freeform will launch 25DaysofChristmasTV.com posting fun new holiday content each day, plus, daily polls relating to the holiday movies on Wishbone, as well as creating lots of fun holiday shareables, gifs and micro-videos to post all over social media. In addition to live tweeting during movies every night, Freeform will also be offering extra content relating to Pop Up Santa surprises.

This family musical fantasy tells the story of eccentric candy maker Willy Wonka (Gene Wilder). Determined to find someone worthy of a dream-of-a-lifetime jackpot, Wonka hides five golden tickets inside five candy bars, with the winners receiving a trip through his factory and enough candy to last, well, forever. Poor but honest Charlie Bucket (Peter Ostrum) is thrilled when he finds a ticket and chooses his Grandpa Joe (Jack Albertson) to visit the factory with him.
