The History Channel’s first scripted series and smashing hit Vikings made its second Comic-Con appearance, offering fans an exciting opportunity to get a behind-the-scenes look at the show via the “On Set with Vikings” experience.

“On Set with Vikings,” a three-day event, provided fans the opportunity to be transformed into fierce Vikings, create character profiles, and film three scenes complete with Viking ships, weapons, and villages for a video they could share on social media. The highlight of this experience was a visit by Travis Fimmel (Ragnar), Katheryn Winnick (Lagertha), Clive Standen (Rollo), and Alexander Ludwig (Bjorn) for a cast signing session.

Much to the delight of fans, Vikings’ stars mingled with them and signed autographs. Fans also received a limited edition Vikings comic book, created by Michael Hirst, the show’s creator, and written by Ralph Tedesco and Joe Brusha.

Vikings is currently in production in Ireland and will return to the History Channel in 2015. In the meantime, here is a sneak peak of Season 3.
